Norma West Linder is the author of five novels, fourteen collections of poetry, a memoir of Manitoulin Island, a children’s book, and a biography of Pauline McGibbon. For twenty-four years she was on the faculty of Lambton College, teaching English and Creative Writing. For seven years she wrote a monthly column for The Sarnia Observer. Her short stories have been published internationally, are widely anthologized, and have been broadcast on CBC radio. Her most recent book, a volume of her selected short fiction, was published in 2013. She lives in Sarnia and is the mother of two adult daughters and a son.

James Deahl was born in Pittsburgh (USA) on December 5, 1945. He moved to Canada in the spring of 1970. He’s the author of twenty-two literary titles, his most recent books being North Point, Rooms The Wind Makes, and North Of Belleville.

A cycle of Deahl’s poems is the focus of a one-hour TV special, Under the Watchful Eye. The audio CD and video DVD are produced by Silver Falls Video. A former teacher, publisher, and financial analyst, for the past decade he has mostly been a full-time writer, editor, and translator. James Deahl lives in Sarnia. He is the father of Sarah, Simone, and Shona.
